Biggin Hill still keeps the feel of a small town: the surrounding Green Belt countryside has kept it from becoming yet another London suburb, although it’s only about 20 miles from the city. A good range of shops can be found in Biggin Hill; these include Waitrose and Marks & Spencer Simply Food, as well as many other smaller outlets, restaurants and pubs.

The nearest station is Woldingham, about 4 miles away. Train services from here serve London Bridge (35 minutes), London Victoria (36 minutes) and East Croydon (14 minutes)*. There are also bus services from Biggin Hill to centres such as Croydon, Bromley and Orpington.

By road, the M25 is about 15 minutes away at junction 4. The A233 which runs through Biggin Hill is a direct route to Bromley and south London.
